Abstract

In his response to the contributions in this issue, the author explains why he assumes that the Qur'an reacts to the propaganda of Heraclius in the last phase of the Qur'anic proclamation, and why he otherwise deals with Syriac intertexts to such a great extent. He defends and explains the chosen comparative theological methodology and addresses further points of criticism from the various essays in this journal.
